So, you’ve got a date tonight or a girls’ night out. You’ve got the venue, the outfit and a safe lift sorted. But what’s in your purse? You don’t want to be rummaging around for your lipstick or failing to find a pantyliner. That’s why we’ve designed this sisterhood thriving kit, to help ensure your safety, convenience and enjoyment.
Read our list of kit items below.
1. Peruse your purses – do you have a little evening bag or cute clutch that’s perfect for nights like these? Chances are it’s smaller than your day-to-day handbag, so you’ll need to make the most of every nook and cranny!
2. Phone of course – you’re not likely to leave home without your phone. But point number 3 is critical…
3. Portable charger – your phone’s your lifeline so if your battery’s running low, make sure to pack a fully-charged portable charger.
4. Panic button – as a 1st for Women customer you have automatic access to a panic button on our app. How convenient is that? Make sure you know exactly where it is and press it in case of an emergency.
5. Ways to pay – got your card on your phone? Then you’re good to go. Otherwise make sure you’ve got your actual bank card. You may like to keep some cash for parking if you don’t want to use your card or don’t have a parking app.
6. Keys please – if you’re not driving, best to remove your car key from your house keys, if they’re on the same key ring. If you are driving, well, you won’t be heading anywhere without your car key.
7. Proof of identity – driver’s licence, if you’re driving, or your ID if you’re not. Even at 27 or 37, you could be mistaken for 17.
8. Hygiene hacks – pocket tissues, just in case there’s no loo paper. Mini hand sanitiser, just in case there’s no soap. Sanitary items, if needed or just in case.
9. Fresh and fragranced – pack chewing gum, breath mint, deo and a mini perfume.
10. Make-up – face mist and a powder pat will keep your skin dewy fresh. And don’t forget gloss and lipstick.
To keep all these items in order, a purse organiser or small zipper plastic bags can be helpful.
