AUTO PLAN WARRANTY

Under 3 years old & < 120 000km

Does your car still drive like a dream? We’d love to keep it that way. Our Auto Plan Warranty ensures that fixing your car after a break down doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg. It’s ideal for cars still within a three year manufacturer’s warranty, is under three years old and has done less than 120 000 km since registration.

AUTO DRIVE WARRANTY

Under 7 years old & < 250 000km

Driving a car without a warranty can be really expensive, imagine if your car broke down and you had to pay everything out of pocket. Having our Auto Drive Warranty really comes in handy; it covers cars that are out of warranty, are under seven years old and have done less than 250 000 km since first date of registration.

AUTO DRIVE TRAIN WARRANTY

Older than 7 years & < 250 000km

Your car is of age, and we know that this means it can get a little temperamental but don’t worry we’ll make sure it ages gracefully. Older cars can be expensive to fix after a breakdown that’s why our Auto Drive Train Warranty is perfect for you. It’s ideal for cars older than seven years (but under fourteen years) and has done less than 250 000 km since its registration.

Auto Plan Warranty

No cover limit
Access to our Breakdown Assist benefit

Auto Drive Warranty

Car is out of the manufacturer’s warranty, is under 7 years old and has done less than 250 000km since it was registered.

Up to 35 components are covered
No cover limit
Access to our Breakdown Assist benefit
Taking apart and putting together the affected area (if needed)
Once-off additional component cover for any part that does not form part of your covered components

Auto Drive Train Warranty

Car is older than 7 years (but under 14 years) and has done less than
250 000km
since its registration.

Up to 15 components are covered
No cover limit
Access to our Breakdown Assist benefit
Taking apart and putting together the affected area (if needed)
Once-off additional component cover for any part that does not form part of your covered components

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I qualify for a vehicle warranty?

Your vehicle must meet the below criteria.

  • A passenger, 4x4 or light commercial vehicle with a gross vehicle mass of less than 3 500kg.
  • Has a valid manufacturer warranty in place.
  • Have a full-service history in place, as per the manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Is not a taxi, rental vehicle, exotic vehicle, rebuilt vehicle (Code 3), modified vehicle or a vehicle that is or has been used in any form of motoring competition or sport.
  • Is in sound mechanical condition and has a valid roadworthy certificate.
What is excluded from a vehicle warranty?

Normal wear and tear isn’t covered by this policy. Note that services must be kept up to date for the policy to remain valid.

How do I claim?

Contact us on 0861 11 25 64 from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00 and one of our knowledgeable advisors will guide you through the process.

 

When claiming, please have the following information on hand:

  • Owner’s name
  • Policy number
  • Current odometer reading on your vehicle
  • Nature of mechanical failure/breakdown
  • Address where the vehicle can be inspected
  • Service records and/or invoices.

Please note: We need to authorise all repair work beforehand, and it must be done by an authorised repairer.

All tiers have a waiting period, and an inspection will be required to waiver the waiting period.
