What is Cellphone Insurance?

Cellphone Insurance helps cover your phone against theft, accidental damage or destruction.
Unlike a manufacturer's warranty, which covers electrical or mechanical faults, First for Women Cellphone Insurance helps protect you against unexpected events a warranty usually doesn't.
How to get Cellphone Insurance
First for Women Cellphone Insurance is not available as a standalone product. To qualify, you'll first need an active Home Contents Insurance policy with First for Women.
Once your First for Women Home Contents Insurance policy is active, you can add your cellphone as a specified portable possession. You'll need to provide the value of the device so it can be listed and insured on your policy.
If your cellphone is lost, stolen, or damaged and you need to submit a claim, simply contact First for Women on 0861 53 78 72 and one of our consultants will assist you through the claims process.

*Your cellphone must be specified on your policy before a claim can be considered
You can also insure eligible cellphones belonging to family members living in your home. Simply list each phone separately on your First for Women policy schedule.
If your insured cellphone is lost, stolen or accidentally damaged, your cover helps reduce the cost of repairing or replacing it, up to the insured value shown on your First for Women policy schedule.
With Home Assist, you can get 24/7 access to an emergency plumber, electrician, glazier or locksmith. First for Women will cover the call-out fee and first hour of labour, for up to five call-outs per household each year.
