DIRECTIONS ASSIST

Directions Assist is a 24-hour helpline and provides direction guidance if you are travelling within the borders of South Africa.

Think of it as a telephonic GPS navigation system or your own personal pilot.

All it takes is one call. Clear directions will be given telephonically while en-route. They can also be faxed or emailed to you before you begin your journey.

TRIP MONITOR

After a girls-night out or a long road trip, you should always SMS your loved ones to let them know you have gotten home or to your destination safely. Alternatively, you could use Trip Monitor which will contact you every 30 minutes to ensure that you are still safely en route.

Should contact be interrupted, a family member or another specified person will be informed, and the time and location of last communication conveyed.

ACCIDENT ASSIST

Your safety and security is our main concern. With Accident Assist, you'll be provided with towing to the nearest approved panel beater/yard after an accident, and with collision procedure advice.

CABS FOR WOMEN

1st for Women sponsors a safe and reliable metered taxi service called Cabs for Women. These Johannesburg-based cabs are driven by women, for women and are emblazoned in - you guessed it - pink - making them easily identifiable.

All Cabs for Women drivers have professional driving permits and the vehicles are fitted with route planning devices so passengers will always know where they are and where they are going.

1st for Women policyholders will receive a 5% discount on their cab fare when travelling with Cabs for Women.

Policyholders can contact 0861 777 778 when booking a cab and quote their policy number as a reference.
