Keep your Car Looking Tip-Top with Polish-Up

Hopefully with a little luck and a lot of careful driving, you won’t have to experience a massive car accident any time soon. With that being said, we all have our fair share of bumps, dents, scratches and chips that seem almost impossible to avoid.

Thankfully, with Polish-Up Insurance, you will be able to keep the paintwork on your car looking as good as the paintwork on your nails, without having to claim from your main car insurance policy and all for a small monthly insurance premium.

With the Polish-Up Policy through 1st for Women, you can fix chips, minor dents and light scratches caused by everyday motoring. This cover applies to the following incident damages:

Light scratches – a scratched area not longer than 15cm in length and not extending over two or more body panels next to each other.
Minor dents – a dented area on the vehicle that is not bigger than 15cm in diameter.
Chips – a chipped area on the vehicle, not bigger than 3mm in diameter.

How do I claim against my Polish-Up policy?

To make a Polish-Up claim, all you have to do is call the 1st for Women Polish-Up claims line on 0861 11 26 07.

There’s no paperwork to fill out as all claims are handled telephonically.

You will have to pay a minimal R250 excess on each claim, but your repairs are guaranteed for three years.

Please note that there will be a 90 day waiting period before your claim is finalised if your car has not been inspected.
