Does my Trailer Insurance policy cover the contents of my trailer?
No, your Trailer Insurance policy exclusively covers the trailer itself and not the loose contents of the trailer- this is because in many trailers there is no way to ensure the security of the loose contents within, If you are transporting anything valuable in a trailer that will need to be left there unattended for extended periods, we recommend that you get a portable possessions policy to protect the item in question.
