Comprehensive Off-Road Insurance Policies

1st for Women offers comprehensive off-road insurance policies to those of you who like to indulge in your wild side. This policy will indemnify you in the event of your bundu- basher getting stolen or damaged.

We’ll also cover any damages, costs or expenses incurred by any third party unfortunate enough to get into an off-road tangle with your vehicle.

Since our off-road insurance policy is comprehensive, you will also be covered for any accidental damage that you or any of the regular drivers cause to the vehicle

What else does my Off-Road Insurance Policy cover?

Your off-road insurance policy will also cover any fitted accessories to the vehicle, up to R10 000, unless you specifically ask for more cover. The spare wheel is also included as part of your policy. You will be indemnified up to R500 for the theft of your spare wheel and up to R3 000 for the lost keys of an off-road vehicle.

Towing and storage are also included as part of your cover, provided that you always use the 1st for Women towline to tow your vehicle. We’ll also cover any medical expenses, up to R5 000 per incident, if the vehicle is in an accident.

What extras can I add to my Off-Road Insurance policy?

As with all of our other car insurance policies, you can add additional cover to your insurance schedule to reduce the amount of the excess you pay when claiming or to extend your cover over additional perils.

When you take out an Off-Road Insurance policy, you will also be asked if you’d like to take additional coverage on the vehicle sound system and the vehicle’s canopy. You’ll also have the option to protect your car against any possible hail damage. Maybe not such a bad idea if you’re planning on camping under the stars in South Africa’s unpredictable weather.
