A TAXI SERVICE DRIVEN BY WOMEN, FOR WOMEN

In addition to our oh-so-pink Guardian Angels (our breakdown assistance initiative for damsels in distress in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban), we also sponsor a safe and reliable metered taxi service called Cabs for Women.

Johannesburg-based Cabs for Women are driven by women, for women and are emblazoned in – you guessed it – pink - making them easily identifiable.

Cabs for Women launched in South Africa in 2008. All Cabs for Women drivers have professional driving permits and the vehicles are fitted with route planning devices so passengers know where they are and where they are going.

1st for Women policyholders will receive a 10% discount on their cab fare when travelling with Cabs for Women.

Policyholders must contact 0861 743 222 (0861 HER CAB) when booking a cab and quote their policy number as a reference.
